Criteria

How a resort
makes the list.

The same rules apply to every province in every region.

01
Build the pool
Resorts are researched province by province, including resorts that are not yet on DrawingTayo.
02
Check eligibility
Each resort must be an active resort business, checked against its Google Business Profile and located in the right province. Hotels, country clubs, duplicate profiles and closed listings are excluded.
03
Record the data
Google rating and review count are recorded on set dates against a data cutoff. For Luzon, that was September 23 and 24, 2026, with a September 30, 2026 cutoff.
04
Rank within the province
Eligible resorts are ranked by Google review count within their own province. If review counts tie, the higher Google rating ranks first. Provinces without enough eligible resorts are not ranked.

Ratings and review counts are a historical snapshot and do not update when Google changes. Guest comments do not change a ranking. Want the rating-based list instead? See the Highest Rated Resorts or return to the 2026 Awards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about
this award.

How are the Most Reviewed Resorts ranked?

Resorts are ranked within their own province by the number of Google reviews recorded in the data snapshot. If review counts tie, the higher Google rating ranks first. The top three in each ranked province are shown.

Does a higher review count mean a better resort?

No. Review count shows how many guests have left a Google review, which is a signal of popularity and track record. For the best-rated resorts, see the Highest Rated list, which ranks by Google rating with a 100-review minimum.

Can a resort pay to be listed or placed higher?

No. Rankings use only Google review count. They are not for sale, and guest comments do not change a ranking.

Which regions are available?

Luzon is live now. Visayas and Mindanao are coming soon, and their cards will link to their own pages once the rankings are published.

Why is a province sometimes not ranked?

A province is ranked only when it has enough eligible resorts for a fair comparison. If it falls below the minimum, no ranking is forced for it. In Luzon, Pampanga and Benguet were not ranked for this reason.

Will these numbers change when Google updates?

No. The figures are a historical snapshot, checked on the dates shown on each regional page, and they stay as published even if live Google numbers move later.
