What are the DrawingTayo Resort Awards?
They are editorial rankings of resorts, grouped by province, using public Google ratings and review counts. They help group trip organizers build a shortlist faster.
Can a resort pay to win or place higher?
No. Rankings use only Google rating and review count. They are not for sale.
Do resorts have to be on DrawingTayo to qualify?
No. The research pool includes resorts beyond DrawingTayo’s listings. Where a ranked resort has a DrawingTayo listing, its card links to it.
Why are some provinces missing?
A province is ranked only when it has enough eligible resorts for a fair comparison. Provinces that fall short are not forced into the awards.
Do guest comments affect the ranking?
No. Guest comments, where shown, are context only and never change a ranking.
Do the numbers update when Google changes?
No. Each year’s awards are a historical snapshot, and the cutoff date is stated on the page.
